Abstract: Fuzzy inference is a powerful tool used in many fields of science nowadays, including medical science. However, for applications where the number of fuzzy rules is very large, the increased computational complexity for systems with limited resources (such as low budget computers and embedded systems) can result in a very slow operation. In this paper, a new method is proposed to accelerate the operation of Fuzzy Inference Systems that is faster than the conventional sequential procedure, primarily for such computer systems.
